Natalie Bouloudis - new indie folk single 'Coal'. My sound is a smokey dose of a powerful voice and biting guitar mixed with ethereal production and often enigmatic lyricism. Think of Anna Calvi, Cat Power, Angel Olsen, PJ Harvey and Sharon Van Etten with the storytelling and indigo shades of Nick Cave and Patti Smith. I am often backed by an amazing band and we love playing live having made appearances at The Old Blue Last, Green Note and Camden Rock Festival. We were also named no. 5 on Raw Ramp mag’s ‘2020 Artists & Bands to Watch’ list.
‘Coal’ is the new single to be released from the forthcoming EP ‘Devil is Doubt’ which is due for release on 29 January 2021. A 12" limited edition Aqua Blue Record/Vinyl + Digital Album is available for pre-release on bandcamp now.
