“Dreaming Of You” follows suit with wonderful guitar work. To me it’s reminiscent of Cheap Trick and I fucking love that band to bloody hell and back.. – Bryan Blake, Vinyl Lollipops
Sandler thinks of this track “as if [John] Lennon’s tautological lyrics combined with the power pop of Squeeze and wrote a ‘60s British pop tune”. This song about losing love and being unable to shake their spell ironically sounds like a feel-good summer hit. That dichotomy extends to one of my favorite lyrics of the album: “The memories of you haunt me like a creature feature matinee.” There’s an earthy, rustic quality to the guitars with subtle country twang. That reminds me of The Kinks when they were charmed by Americana music enough to record Muswell Hillbillies. -Sean Frasier, President Wise Blood Records & Staff Writer Decibel Magazine
