New Single: “Super Silkmen” out 12.03.21 on all major digital platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, etc).
A song born out of burning passion for a football club on the brink of extinction: Glass Ankle songwriter, Greg was in despair as Macclesfield Town FC were wound up in the High Court. In the face of the devastation, he channelled his thoughts and feelings to create a song that communicated what The Silkmen meant to him. The song was called “Save Our Silkmen”.
Around three weeks later, a local businessman purchased the club.

were saved are due to restart down in the 10th tier of English Football next season! Spurred on by the supporter's response to the song, Greg decided to go ahead and record a more polished version with tweaked lyrics to reflect the new sense of optimism. as we embark on our new beginning.
