Gabriel Templar is an indie-pop artist based in Bristol.
2019 has seen Gabriel Templar quickly rise through the ranks of UK singer songwriters to become known as a master of melody. As comfortable playing a guitar as he is keyboards, Gabriel consistently produces instantly recognisable and memorable songs in his own unique style.
Earlier this year Gabriel was approached by two major organisations, ITV’s ‘The Voice’ and Glastonbury Festival but unfortunately, both requests were for the same dates in June. Needless to say, Glastonbury easily won that fight which resulted in performances on five separate stages.
Gabriel is also passionate about supporting the British Heart Foundation. In September, together with Luke Pritchard (The Kooks) he was invited to attend at the BHF Annual Awards Ceremony in London where he again pledged to continue to help raise funds and promote public awareness.
As his reputation and audience continue to grow, Gabriel Templar is without doubt a performer to watch and with his long awaited debut single ‘Nobody Knows’ already causing a stir within the music industry his second release is already in the pipeline.

Rave To The Grave
Rave To The Grave was started in the 70’s by Mutter Slater who was from the highly successful band Stackridge – who opened an closed the very first Glastonbury Festival in 1970. Roger Bastable joined in 1979 and they played extensively through the 80’s. When Mutter left John Burden joined and he and Roger played together throughout the 90’s with a variety of guitarists and drummers. After a short gap they have now reformed and are playing to packed houses once again!
The Michael Eavis Band was formed last year and comprises of Michael and his musical friends playing a selection of his favourite songs. They were extremely well received at the Avalon Stage at this years Glastonbury Festival.
Michael Eavis was born in Pilton, Somerset and grew up at Worthy Farm in the village. His father was a local Methodist preacher, and his mother a school teacher. Eavis was educated at Wells Cathedral School, followed by the Thames Nautical Training College after which he joined the Union-Castle Line, part of the British Merchant Navy, as a trainee Midshipman. His plan was to spend twenty years at sea, and return with a pension to help subsidise the income from the family farm.
In 1969, Eavis and his wife Jean visited the Bath Festival of Blues. Inspired by seeing the performance of Led Zeppelin, Eavis hosted the Pilton Pop Folk & Blues Festival in 1970. The following year a free festival, Glastonbury Fayre was organised by Andrew Kerr and associates, which later developed into the Glastonbury Festival.
